Care and Recovery

There are many ways that you can make a difference here at Bible Fellowship Church as well as in our community. Call Connie at (805) 656-7766 x251 to chat about a volunteer position in Care Ministries. 

Food Pantry — Each week, bags of groceries are given to those who come seeking food assistance. We need volunteers to help keep our food pantry well organized. We also need people who will donate a bag of dry goods to help keep the food pantry stocked.

ACTION — is about Area Christians Taking Initiative On Needs. This group facilitates community service projects and outreach opportunities with other churches and local agencies to help those who are most in need. Meals — We need a volunteer who will assist our Meals Coordinator to arrange meals for those in our church family who are ill, in crisis, or experiencing a loss of some kind. Volunteers are needed to be "on-call" to make a meal or deliver a meal to the Kingdom Center on Tuesday evenings.

Prayer Team —  Prayer is an important part of ENCOUNTER and we are looking for a coordinator for this ministry as well as volunteers to pray with those who visit our prayer area.

Community Service Coordinator — Let us know if you would be interested in helping rally people around a service project for our community.

Celebrate Recovery — We welcome experienced 12-step sponsors to our program every Thursday night.

Administrative Assistant — Do you have 2-3 hours per week to help people connect with appropriate care or community resources? Connie is in need of three volunteers who are willing to commit to 2-3 hours per week to help with Care Ministry administration. Work from home, or at the church office.
