Children’s Ministry has many opportunities for people to get involved with the flexibility to serve for as little or as much as they have time for. Every volunteer is a blessing and so appreciated!

Nursery Volunteers 
Loving volunteers and staff care for infants through age two-years.
 
-Adults serving once a month or more during ENCOUNTER 
-Adults serving as substitutes as needed
-Junior Partners (ages 10 and up) serving once a month

Kids’ Cove Early Childhood Volunteers 
Loving volunteers and staff teach children ages 3 through kindergarten of Jesus' love through music, stories, crafts and games.

-Teachers serving weekly or every other week during ENCOUNTER 
-Teachers’ assistants serving weekly, every other week or once a month
-Substitutes serving whenever available

Kids’ Cove Elementary Volunteers
Loving volunteers and staff teach the truths about Christ to children in 1st through 5th grades through an interactive program which includes worship and teaching in a large group setting, followed by small group time where the kids really dig into the Bible lesson for that day.

-Teachers’ assistants serving weekly, every other week or once a month
-Substitutes serving whenever available
- Large group leaders serving weekly, every other week or once a month

Lightforce Volunteers for Pre-Teens 
Loving volunteers and staff help pre-teens in Grades 5 and 6 grow deeper in their relationships

-Small group leaders serve weekly or every other week during the Sunday 10:45 a.m. service

Kids’ Choir Volunteers (ages 4 through 8th Grade):
During 2 seasons per year, Feb – June and Aug – Dec, opportunities for volunteers range from helping in a specific activity, to a 12 to 16 week commitment as a director, teacher or assistant.
Sunday 9 a.m. service:
-Teachers (lessons or choreography) - work with the children on a weekly basis and on Tuesdays the month before a performance
-Assistants - work with children and help teachers on a weekly basis
-Accompanists - accompany the children on piano during choir rehearsals
Tuesdays 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. (During the season):
-Drama Director – direct drama portion of musical, meet with Choir Director on regular basis
-Drama Assistant – work alongside Drama Director
-Dance Director – choreograph and instruct the children in selected songs in jazz, ballet or hip hop: meet with Choir Director on regular basis
-Dance Assistant – work alongside Dance Director
-Voice Director – work with soloists in musical, meet with Choir Director on regular basis
-Ensemble Director – work with small group of singers, meet with Choir Director on regular basis

Specific Activities (Dates and times vary):
- Registration Team – help with registering children on 6 weekends
- Production Team – design sets and props, create costumes, meet with Choir Director on regular basis
- Sound and Lighting – handle sound and lighting needs during special rehearsals and musical, meet with Choir Director
