Stories to Live By

When Jesus walked among us, He taught everywhere He went. He was always pointing people toward a “Kingdom”—not a physical location, but a spiritual reality. He was talking about the reign of God in people’s lives. It was all about a revolution that was hitting the earth—even as he spoke.

To make  the truth stick, Jesus would use stories. Sometimes they were ironic, sometimes irritating, but always impacting. Always astounding. Always compelling. They were the kind of stories that no one could forget. They were just too true, too real, and too personal. Many walked away shaking their heads. Others kept listening. Some were never the same again.

As 2010 unfolds, we’re going to be crowding in close to the Rabbi as He tells some of His best stories. Don’t miss a single one of them! Know anyone who is wondering about this King or this Kingdom? Invite them along. They may keep listening. They may never be the same again.
