Prayer Team
Prayer is the connection between our hearts and the heart of God. What a privilege—to know that we can bring ourselves to Him and know that He loves and accepts us, listens to us, and responds with His perfect wisdom to our prayers. All the way through Scripture we are called to pray.
Moses wrote, “When we cried out to the Lord, He heard our voice” Numbers 20:16
King David wrote, “With us is the Lord our God, to help us and to fight our battles” II Chronicles 32:8
Jesus said, "'My house will be called a house of prayer,'” Matthew 21:13
Paul wrote, “Pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints” Ephesians 6:18
“Pray continually…” I Thessalonians 5:17
We invite you into this most dynamic part of our Christian experience and the core life of our church. Here’s how you can become involved right now:
-At our online prayer site you can also read the requests that have been left by others and pray for those who have submitted a request.
-Join us in the auditorium 15 minutes before any of our three weekend ENCOUNTER services and pray with our pastors and worship leaders.
-Visit our Prayer Area at the back of the auditorium immediately after ENCOUNTER to pray for and with others.
-Become part of our Prayer Team by e-mailing Blake and Michele Biederman at biederman@sbcglobal.net. You’ll receive urgent prayer requests by e-mail and can be involved in praying with others after our services whenever you’re available.
-Pray for our missionaries who are serving around the world. Join us in the Prayer Chapel (located near the auditorium entrance) on Thursday mornings from 8:30-9:30 a.m. for “Partners in Prayer.”
