Easter
So, Easter. What does it matter?
A lot of people believe in Easter. Surprisingly, according to a recent Gallup poll a whopping 84% say they believe that Jesus rose from the dead. Yet, many people don’t have any idea WHY His resurrection matters. If you asked them, “What difference does it make?” you'd likely get a blank stare.
According to Scripture, Christ’s real physical resurrection is EVERYTHING. As the Apostle Paul put it, “If Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins” (1 Corinthians 15:17).
Everywhere you go you meet people who are spiritually floundering. They feel completely estranged from God, filled with intellectual doubts, and buried by personal regrets. If asked about the resurrection of Christ, (even if they do believe it) most would say, “So, what’s that have to do with me?”
This Easter, come find out what difference it makes right now, for you. It matters. A lot.
