Biblical Counseling Courses

Are you the kind of person whose friends and family constantly come to for help and counsel? The one everyone seems to look to for all the answers? But you sometimes feel ill-equipped or lack the confidence necessary to be as effective as you would like to be during these times of need. The Care Ministry of Bible Fellowship Church has developed a way for you to be trained and equipped for an effective ministry to others. Our partnership with the American Association of Christian Counselors and Light University offers a Diploma and Advanced Diploma program in Biblical Counseling leading to the Board Certified Biblical Counselor Credential.

If you would like to consider being trained as a Biblical Counselor, we have video courses in Caring for People God’s Way (an introduction to Biblical Counseling) and Breaking Free (examining issues in biblical counseling) to get you started on the path. For advanced certification in specific areas, we offer Caring for Kids God’s Way (assisting children and adolescents with today’s challenges on their way to a healthy lifestyle), Caring for Teens (help teens navigate through life’s tough lessons), Marriage Works (we have this class starting September 7 at 9:00 a.m.), Extraordinary Women (women’s issues & mentoring), and Healthy Sexuality (for those who desire the knowledge, skill, and encouragement needed to more effectively address the sexual challenges of today).

All of these courses can be taken in your own home or in the classroom setting. It is possible to earn a certificate in Biblical Counseling through Light University, or simply to advance your own understanding and ability to help others in every-day life.
