Caring for Others
Caring for Others
Caring and encouragement are part of every small group at Bible Fellowship Church. Sometimes a situation requires more than what a small group can provide. Ministries such as our Food Pantry and TLC Meals for families experiencing hospitalization or other crisis provide practical assistance to members of our congregation. Our hospital and home-bound visitation volunteers bring joy and encouragement to those who are not able to attend services.
Community Service
Opportunities to serve our community abound through our association with the ACTION foundation. Check out the ACTION web site for current opportunities. This year, over 2500 Christians from Ventura County will participate in ACTION, Summer of Service, working on beautification of parks and schools, cleaning up run-down neighborhoods to building handicapped ramps for the disabled and repairing homes for the elderly. You and your family can make a difference in our community this year!
We are also partnering with The Kingdom Center transitional housing project to help support the homeless here in Ventura. If you'd like to become involved with this project, e-mail care@bfconline.org for more information.
We could use your help. Or, maybe you could use ours.
