About Care & Recovery

Welcome

Life is full of trouble. We all know that. No one goes through life without experiencing pain. Maybe you or someone close to you is walking the dark road of suffering right now. If so, I hope you will take a few moments to look through the Care and Recovery pages of our site.

I believe we were created to give compassionate, loving care to one another. With help from God and caring individuals, we can not only survive trouble, but we can learn deep lessons of faith as we move through brokenness and suffering. As we become wiser, humbler, stronger and more understanding toward each other, we will create communities that express the heart of a loving God. There are a number of small groups from which to choose at BFC to find this kind of connection. If the pain goes a little deeper than you feel comfortable sharing in a Bible Study group, you might want to consider one of the support and recovery groups linked to this page.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. 2 Corinthians 1:3 4

Whether you are in need of care, or would like to share your experience, strength, and hope with others, I would love to hear from you.

My name is Connie, and I'm a Christian in recovery.
