Update on Betty: Thanks for your prayers. Betty continues in the hospital but is doing better. She has Strep and Staph Pneumonia. She has been in a lot of pain. Please continue to pray for her healing and pray for protection for her vital organs-esp kidneys and heart as Strep sometimes attacks them. And please pray for wisdom for her doctors. Will you stand in the gap for my older brother, Kevin, who has been in the hospital for about a week now. It seems he may be having complications from a previous surgery and he has some kind of obstruction in his digestive tract which the doctors have not been able to diagnose and correct. He is in much pain and is being given morphine. He is not a believer and I am praying that he will open his heart to the love of God through this trial. He will be undergoing another test today and I'm praying they will find the problem and be able to correct it. Thank you for adding your prayers with mine. Trusting that God hears and in His grace and mercy He will not only heal my brother but that my brother will turn his heart to the Lord and welcome Him into his life. (expires 9/8/2010)

Praise God for His goodness and provision in my life. I'm really overwhelmed when I see how my Jesus loves me. Please pray for our boys. Pray for Juan - he has a torn calf muscle from football practice this week. Pray for God's healing and also that Juan will come to accept Jesus as his personal Savior. Erasmo - for school and to be hired for his county job soon. He is getting discouraged. Praise God he attended College group this past week - keep praying. Pray for Emilio with Sr. Year coming - school starts next week and for safety in football and a great season. Thank you, Lord, for speaking to Emilio's heart.
