World Outreach
Mission is about the community of Christians engaging the world with the gospel. We want to mobilize the local church to impact our neighbors, our cities and the world in ways that make an eternal difference. We want to keep expanding our worldview and creatively involve others with missional living.
We partner with 22 full time missionaries as well as organizations like Lifewater and Compassion. These individuals, families and organizations are involved in a wide spectrum of ministry that includes evangelism, church planting, leadership training and development, medical care & training, youth ministry, missions transportation, and counseling, caring and training for cross-cultural workers.
Our commitment to our missionaries is more than writing a check each month. Partners in Prayer is a group of people who meet weekly to pray for the needs of our global partners and the people groups they serve. Fresh Lemonade is our ministry that connects the church with our missionaries to give encouragement while they are on the field or in the States. In addition, we take a team of professionals each year to lead Breathe, a conference designed to refresh and support missionaries in the unique challenges they face working cross-culturally.
Here in Ventura, we're involved in reaching out to international students. You can learn more about this great group by visiting International Students Ventura/Facebook or contact Mary Davis. We also partner with other local churches to serve at The Kingdom Center, an outreach to those who are homeless.
Check out some of the ways you can engage with the world and extend God's love to others.
